Natchitoches in the projected path of Hurricane Delta and the safety of our guests and cast is our greatest priority — therefore we will be closed on Friday and Saturday October 9 and 10.

Dark Woods Haunted Attraction and Lost Treasure Mining Company will be CLOSED Friday and Saturday October 9 and 10 and will reopen following the storm when it is safe to do so.

At this time, all of Dark Woods’ attractions, haunted houses and the Lost Treasure Mining Company are scheduled to re-open by Friday October 16th. We continue to closely monitor the weather and will share operational updates as needed.

For guests who have pre-purchased tickets or scheduled time-slots, we’ve got you covered.

According to Dark Woods’ Severe Weather Policy – “If you have purchased tickets online, we will honor them any open night during the regular season. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.”

But whether you are planning to visit the park or not, those traveling to Louisiana and those in Louisiana should proceed with caution. According to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Hurricane Delta poses a “significant threat to Louisiana.”

We hope everyone stays safe during the storm. See you soon!
