Now let’s think about this for a minute. Everybody has a different FEAR threshold and we do our best to accommodate everybody. NO haunted attraction will scare EVERYONE. You will laugh, scream, giggle and tremble with or at your friends, but most importantly, you will have a great time bonding with your family and friends as you hold onto each other for dear life!

Just like you, we’re haunted house fans and believe the best way to celebrate Halloween is to attend haunted houses! We do recommend that you visit several haunted houses, no two haunted houses are exactly the same!

No alcohol is served or allowed at the Dark Woods.

Yes! Dark Woods’ Black Cat Café is open nightly with tasty treats and and hot and cold drinks to kill your hunger pangs.

Placement of order(s) for ticket(s) indicates your acceptance of all Dark Woods Haunted Attraction conditions, which include, but are not limited to:

  • WEATHER – In the unlikely event that the weather forces Dark Woods Haunted Attraction to close for the evening, all existing tickets can be used on any other evening for the remainder of our current season. All patrons acknowledge and accept that there are NO REFUNDS!
  • Tickets obtained from sources other than Dark Woods Haunted Attraction run the risk of being counterfeit and may not be honored.
  • No High Heels or Flip Flop footwear allowed.
  • All patrons acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted our terms, policies, and disclaimers. We reserve the right to amend such as the need arises, and without prior notice.
  • You will not be admitted or may be asked to leave the property without refund if rules are not followed.

Of course! Dark Woods branded and other souvenir merchandise and memorabilia is available at the Dark Woods Company Store located at the front gate and at the Shovel and Bone Gift Shop in the rear of the park.

Costumes and masks are strictly prohibited.

Absolutely! The Dark Woods Ticket Office is open from 6 pm til 11pm on show nights. Cash and major credit cards accepted.

On-Site/Day of Event Questions

No. Actors will not touch you. Please be respectful and do not touch them. Incidental and unintentional contact may occur.

No. Photography and video recording (including Live Streams and GoPros) are not permitted inside the attractions. You may however, take all the photos you want in the common areas of the park.

In general, we try to keep the wait time to under 30 minutes. However, on the last 2 weekends in October and on Halloween the lines will be much longer. Buy your tickets online to avoid the box office line and try to come earlier in October or on Demon Student Night if you would like to avoid the longer lines! Want to skip the line completely? There is a FastPass for that!

Four to six people per group. If you have more than six people in your group you will be divided up into smaller groups. There may be a section in the attraction that you will be separated from your group for short period of time.

Sorry, no outside food or drinks are allowed into Dark Woods.

Yes! Beginning in 2017, you may leave the park and return with any UNREDEEMED tickets to either attraction.

If lines are too long, you can upgrade a regular admission ticket to Fast Pass at the ticket office. Get Fast Pass info here.

You are able to skip the often lengthy box office line and go straight to the line to enter the park. After you buy a ticket online, you will receive an email with a ticket to print. You must have this printout with a bar-code on it with you or be able to show the bar-code on your smart phone to the staff at the entrance.

No. Dark Woods is first come, first served. However, you can avoid the line with a FastPass.

Yes! Dark Woods supports our active and retired military! Simply put, we love you guys! Just present your military ID at the Dark Woods ticket office and get $5 off regular or fast pass admission. Get more info about Dark Woods Military Discounts here.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or can be purchased at the ticket office between 6 pm and midnight on show nights.

All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be exchanged or cancelled for any reason. (Including guests who may be escorted off the site for security reasons) NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

However, unused tickets may be used any open night!

Who Should/Should’t Attend

No, you will not be allowed in the attraction if you’re pregnant. We do not know how other people will react when scared and we do not want to take a chance that something may happen to you or your baby. Sorry, Thank you!

The Dark Carnival in 3D contain loud sounds, sudden movements, and effects which may be too intense for children. Parental discretion advised. Persons with the following conditions should not experience mazes:

  • Heart Conditions or Abnormal Blood Pressure
  • Expectant Mothers
  • Medical Sensitivity to Strobe Effects
  • Medical Sensitivity to Fog Effects
  • Fear of Enclosed Spaces
